Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is practicing in Rock County, WI. Sara holds a Master of Science from Aurora University at George Williams College and has extensive experience working with young adults through all life stages of adulthood.
With a background of over 25 years in community mental health settings, she has experience working with diverse populations ages 16 and older treating depression, anxiety PTSD, ADHD,
grief and loss, personality disorders, OCD, panic disorders, and anger management. Her therapeutic style blends evidence-based modalities, which includes training and experience
in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions with a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Sara’s work is shaped by her practice through ongoing professional training with the goal of meeting individuals where they are, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. Her primary goal is to work together, to develop practical skills that can be applied to everyday life to promote emotional well-being, resilience, healthy coping and lasting personal growth.
